 A CardioRisk screening is a non-invasive ultrasound test that looks at your carotid arteries to detect early signs of plaque buildup and cardiovascular disease—often years before symptoms appear.

This screening can identify plaque, arterial thickening, and early changes in your blood vessels. It gives you a real look at what’s happening inside your arteries—not just risk estimates from bloodwork. 

 This is ideal if you:

Even if you feel healthy, this test can uncover hidden risk.

No preparation is needed. You can eat, drink, and take your normal supplements or medications as usual.

 The scan itself takes about 10–15 minutes. Plan for around 20 minutes total.

Your scan will be reviewed by CardioRisk specialists, and your results will be sent to you shortly after. We’ll guide you on next steps once your results are in.

You can schedule a 60–90 minute consultation with Rachel, our functional nutritionist at Mantra Wellness, to create a personalized, root-cause plan to reduce risk and support reversal where possible. In some cases, an appointment with a cardiologist may be recommended.

This screening is a cash-based service and is not billed through insurance. The cost is $249. You are welcome to submit your receipt to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
